Become a professional drum teacher in London

If you are serious about becoming a drum teacher position in our school, you should apply..

Be aware that many are called and only few are chosen.
You are more likely to be successful if you fulfill the conditions below:

1. You are in possession of - or can get - an enhanced DBS certificate less than 3 years old.
2. You have liability insurance as a musician/teacher.
3. You can show that you have live performance experience. (Stage and/or studio).
3. Not mandatory, but having a BMUs in music; preferably drums and performance from a London or other university is a plus.
4. You are familiar with Trinity College or Rock School grades 1-8.
5. You have a very good understanding of drum music notation and can read drum charts.
7. You are fluent in various music styles - IE. pop, rock, funk, soul, disco, hip hop, jazz, Latin..
8. You have a pleasant personality and are a good communicator.
9. You love teaching or dealing with children.
10. You are a team player. Teaching in our school is different to teaching by yourself privately.
11. You understand that the administrative duties as the teachers are an indispensable part of the job (we'll train you).

If you do not satisfy all the points above, but believe that you can be an asset in our teaching team, do not hesitate to apply. We will assess your weaknesses and we will train you.
